Here comes the orginal recipe of chocolate chip cookies by Ruth Graves Wakefield. For everyone who doesn't know who she is, Ruth Wakefield is the inventor of one of the most favorite cookies of all time - 'Chocolate Chip Cookies'.
The recipe is very simple. Mix the wet ingredients together. Add the dry ingredients to it and finally fold in the chocolate chips.
Here is what you need : All purpose flour, Baking soda, Salt, Sugar, Brown sugar,Vanilla extract, Unsalted butter, Egg and Chocolate chips.
Begin by mixing all purpose flour, baking soda and salt.
1/2 tsp Baking soda
and 1/2 tsp Salt.
Mix it until well combined and set aside.
Next, mix together White sugar, Brown sugar, Butter and Vanilla extract.
Add 1/2 cup of Butter. Make sure the butter is softened.
Add 1/4 Cup and 2Tbsp of Sugar.
1/4 Cup and 2Tbsp Brown Sugar
And mix it until its fluffy.
Then add 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract.
And 1 Egg
Mix it together until combined.
Then add the dry ingredients 1 Tbsp at a time.
Mix together gently.
And finally the most important ingredient.
Get the dark chocolate chips if you can find it in your store.
Dump 1 Cup of chocolate chips..and fold it gently in to the cookie mixture.
Scoop small balls ...
and drop it on the cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Gently press the cookie balls and bake it at 375 degrees F for 9 mintues.
JUST 9 MINUTES IS ALL YOU NEED !!
This was right at 9 minutes. It is very soft.But let it be on the cookie sheet for another half an hour.
They are soft and chewy !

Ingredients:
- All purpose flour- 1 cup and 2 Tbsp
- Baking soda- 1/2 tsp
- Salt- 1/2 tsp
- Butter,softened - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 1/4 cup and 2 Tbsp
- Brown sugar - 1/4 cup and 2 Tbsp
- Vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- Egg - 1
- NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Dark Chocolate Chips - 1 cup
Directions:
- Combine flour,baking soda and salt in a bowl.
- Combine butter,sugar and brown sugar in another bowl.
- Add vanilla extract and egg
- Add the flour mixture and chocolate chips.
- Scoop in to small balls on to a cookie sheet.
- Bake it for 9 minutes at 375 degrees F.
- For a thin and crispy cookie increase the butter to 3/4 cups and white sugar to 1/2 cup and bake it for 13 to 14 minutes.
