So tender ! So flavorful !
And this is what you need to make this : Chicken,Lemon,Onion,Tomato,Ginger,Garlic,Green chilli,Turmeric powder,Pepper,Coriander powder,Garam masala,Salt,Curry leaves and Dried red chilli.
Begin with 1 lb boneless or bone in chicken pieces.Add 1 tsp Pepper powder
Next grab a lemon and cut it into half.Squeeze half lemon in to the chicken.
Toss everything together and refrigerate for atleast 1 hour or overnight.
Pour in 2 Tbsp of Oil in a large skillet.
and add the onions.
Next finely chop 1 Garlic
Add it to the onion and saute them.
To this add 2 tsp Ginger chopped
and 3 Green chilli sliced .
Next add 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Coriander powder
1 tsp Garam masala.
1 tsp Salt
and saute them again for couple of minutes.
Finally slice 2 tomatoes
then dice it
Add it to the skillet and cook it for 2 minutes.
Then add the marinated chicken.You can discard the juice.
Pour 1/4 cup of water and cook covered in low heat until the chicken is fully cooked.
Once the chicken is cooked begin to make it dry on medium heat.
Keep stirring till all the water disappears.
Like this ..
Finally fry few curry leaves and dried red chilli in some oil and pour over the chicken

Ingredients :
For marination
- Chicken - 1 lb
- Pepper - 1 tsp
- Lemon Juice - Half lime
For the curry
- Oil - 2 Tbsp
- Onion chopped - 1 large
- Garlic chopped - 2 tsp
- Ginger chopped - 2 tsp
- Tomato diced - 2
- Green chilli - 3
- Black pepper - 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Curry leaves - 5
- Dired red chilli - 2
Direction:
- Marinate chicken with pepper and lime juice for atleast 1 hour or overnight.
- Chop onion,garlic,ginger,tomato and slice green chilli.
- Saute it in oil.
- Add turmeric ,coriander, garam masala and salt.
- Add chicken and water.
- Cook closed till fully cooked.
- Once cooked make it dry on medium heat.
- Finally fry the curry leaves and dried red chilli and pour over the chicken.
